We provide a rewarding work life for about 60 employees. We are currently seeking a Human Resource Generalist to manage all aspects of human resource practices and processes. This role will provide support and assistance to our valuable staff with HR related questions and/or issues.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Serve as the employees’ liaison for all insurance questions and/or problems.
  • Maintain an applicant tracking system
  • Manage the recruitment, selection and onboarding process
  • Manage a performance appraisal system – process & oversight of all changes for merit increases, promotions, demotions, job changes, etc.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefit programs
  • Manage annual Open Enrollment
  • Manage the company’s FMLA, PFL and Workers Comp program following both the federal and company guidelines including all employee, medical and company forms as well as tracking changes to employees’ vacation and sick time accrual and employees’ self-pay benefit payments
  • Assist with 401K plan including employee deferrals, employer matches, and employee loan payments
  • Serve as a backup for Payroll processing
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Our Human Resource Generalist should have::

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline, preferred
  • Knowledge of ADP
  • Onboarding and payroll experience is essential
  • A minimum of 2 years of Human Resource experience is required
  • Knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products ( Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Must be accurate and thorough at all times
  • Ability to multitask while working under pressure from deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision

You’ll be with us:

  • Full-time 8am-5pm Monday – Thursday, with Flex time Fridays
